Is your Shopify store Black Friday ready? If not, here’s a few tips.
First up, be sure that you have your abandoned checkout email set up, so that if people do leave items in their cart, hopefully you can recover them.
You can set this up by selecting Settings from the very bottom of the Menu on the left of your dashboard. Scroll to Checkout, and then scroll down to the Abandoned Checkouts section. It’s super customizable, you can select the number of hours to wait before sending the email, who receives the email, and even customize what the email says.
Next up, be sure that you have all of your banners ready and loaded to your website so that your customers know exactly what sort of deals to expect from your website. These editable banners come free with any Website template purchased from my shop for a limited time!
AND I can have your brand new website up and running within 48 hours when you purchase the Install package with a new Shopify template! I have over 50 to choose from…you’ve got to go see them!
My last black Friday tip is to go through all of your products and make sure that they look great. The product photos look great, and that your website looks completely pulled together. This will help customers feel more comfortable on your website, and build you more trust.
One thing that will be MAJORLY helpful, is to make all your photos the same size and shape, so everything looks uniform when your customers see your page. One quick and easy (and totally free) way to do this is to pull up a new 5×7 design in Canva and upload all your photos. Drag them into the builder one by one – each on their own page – and download (don’t forget to select the compress option, to make sure your photos don’t slow down your site!!). Boom, every single picture is the same shape and size, and your website looks fresh and profesh!
Your customers love to stick around and buy all the things when your website feels great to them. Check out some protips on my post: How to get website views that actually convert.
